The Best-Feeling Condom for Women - Get What We Like!!
Attention all men!! Do you want to practice safe sex, but are unsure about the type of condom that women like the best? Well, my lovely (and patient) husband was the willing guinea pig for this experiment, and I will gladly share the results of our months of testing.
Although many different brands exist, many condom manufacturers simply use different trade names for the same product. There are three major types of condoms, and all have varying degrees of sensitivity and protection against sexually transmitted disease. The three major materials are:
1. Latex Condoms: literally hundreds of latex condom types litter the marketplace. Latex condoms are the cheapest, and give good protection against sexually transmitted disease and pregnancy.
If you are going to attempt anal sex, this is probably your best bet. Whether you are homosexual or heterosexual, latex is the best for anal sex because of the superior protection against breakage and disease. Boys-- don"t forget to use lots of good lubricant if you are going to try anal sex. K-Y and Astrolube are pretty good, and available everywhere. Do NOT use Vaseline, mineral oil, or any oily product, because it can break down the condom. The rectal area is more sensitive for women, and we have no natural lubricants in this area, (no matter how excited we get), so you can make the experience more pleasant for us if you use lots and lots of water-based lubricant.
Latex condoms come in lots of different sizes, colors, flavors... you get the idea. The biggest drawback for these condoms is that they usually need some extra help from us in the way of lubricant. The sensation of a latex condom does not mimic the sensation of a penis very well, and even the ultra thin condoms did not feel as great as the other two types of condoms. However, for price and functionality, latex condoms can"t be beat!
2. Polyurethane Condoms: These were a winner!! Much more sensitive than latex, and they warmed up on contact, feeling almost like natural skin. These were much better in almost every respect, except for availability and price. They prevent pregnancy and disease as well as latex condoms. There are only two major manufacturers of these condoms, Avanti and Trojan (Supra). They are more expensive and harder to find, although they are a superb option for those with an allergy to latex (note: if your lady experiences pain or discomfort after sex with a condom, it may be a latex sensitivity. It"s worth trying something new to find out!). They are also a little trickier to place on the penis, but once you get it on, it"s worth it! If you can afford it, these are a definite plus! Everyone will have a better, more sensitive experience.
3. Lambskin Condoms: lambskin has been used for centuries as a preventative for pregnancy. Unfortunately, these are only good for preventing pregnancy and not acceptable for anyone sleeping with multiple partners or having homosexual intercourse. However, I gladly hopped into the sack with my husband and gave these condoms a little "go-round". They were difficult to get on (because of the natural membrane)-- but felt wonderful! They had a natural feel and I could not tell that my husband was wearing a condom at all. If you are in a monogamous relationship and can afford these pricey condoms, they are worth a try. The application drove my husband crazy, but he was really enjoying my reaction, so it was all worth it.
I hope that this little experiment helps you pick out the right condom for your particular situation. And remember, any condom is always better than no condom at all, so have fun with it!
